The Casa Grande Elementary School District values its employees as demonstrated by the various benefits that are offered for all employees and their dependents.
CGESD provides competitive salaries and comprehensive group insurance benefits for eligible employees. Health insurance includes medical, vision, dental, prescription medications, life insurance, and short-term disability coverage for only $10 per month on a pre-tax basis. If desired, dependent insurance is available at the eligible employee’s expense. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is free of charge to all permanent employees and their dependents (up to age 26).

New hire certified/exempt staff hired for the new fiscal year are eligible for benefits on September 1. Certified/Exempt staff hired after September 1 will be eligible for
benefits the first of the month after their date of hire.
New hire classified staff – non 12 month - hired for the new fiscal year are eligible for benefits effective October 1. Classified – non 12 month employees will be eligible for benefits the first of the month in which they reach their 90th day of employment.
12 month employees are eligible for benefits on the first of the month in which they reach their 90th day of employment.
Benefit Changes for the Year
The CGESD Spring Open Enrollment period is May 13, 2021, through June 10, 2021.
Open Enrollment meetings are scheduled for Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 4:00 pm and Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 4:30 pm at the District Office.
A Zoom meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 12:00 pm, information to join the meeting will be sent out prior to the meeting.
The Benefit Year will be from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.
