Dr. Adam Leckie Welcome!
Dear CGESD Families,
I am incredibly honored to serve as the next superintendent for the Casa Grande Elementary School District. There is always a lot of anxiety whenever a new leader enters an organization, especially when the outgoing leader is so well respected. Dr. Gonzales has done an incredible job leading with compassion, understanding, and innovation. I can promise you that I feel a great sense of responsibility to ensure I support the entire Casa Grande Elementary School District community as we enter the next school year.
I started my educational career as a paraprofessional in a special education classroom and I knew right away that I would spend the rest of my life serving in schools. CGESD’s core values of compassion, equity, excellence, responsibility, collaboration, and learning drive all that I do in leadership and in the critical work of educating students. My heart will always be in the classroom and the teacher part of me continues to be at the core of who I am as a leader.
I make a commitment to our community to do my best every day to put students at the front of every decision we make, and to ensure students and families have a voice in our school district. Community is central to how I lead and I want our families to feel connected to our district and empowered to help us continue to better support kids. My mantra has always been and continues to be "every parent is a partner."
It is my goal over the next few months to connect with as many people as I can, to continue to learn about this great community, and to set a solid foundation for our future. I look forward to meeting and getting to know many of you and learning how we can become stronger as a community. I am excited to be a part of the CGESD family and invite you to join me as we embark on this new journey together.
Our future is bright!
Dr. Adam Leckie, Ed.D.
