Letter to Families

Dear CGESD Families,
Earlier this week, the Arizona Education Department released the 2021-22 A-F School Letter Grades for all public schools statewide. The letter grade itself is based primarily on a single standardized test and reflects student growth, achievement, and other key areas of student readiness.
We are pleased to share our letter grades with the CGESD community as we work to recover from the impacts of the pandemic and ensure our students have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
There is much to celebrate about our district’s performance and many positive trends we are seeing in our data. While there are many highlights, it is clear that we have work to do to ensure our students are reaching their full potential and are prepared for future success.
We invite you to work alongside your child’s school as we continue to strengthen our district and advance our students’ academic, social, and career readiness.
If you would like more information on your child’s school letter grade as well as information on how we are working to improve our schools, please visit our website at www.cgesd.org/lettergrades.
It continues to be my honor to serve this great community and I am proud to be the superintendent of Casa Grande Elementary School District.
With Gratitude,
Dr. Adam Leckie
Superintendent
