Mrs. Davey was born in Madison, Wisconsin but was raised in Casa Grande, AZ. She attended Cottonwood Elementary school and went on to Casa Grande Junior High and Casa Grande Union High School where she enjoyed playing soccer and other extracurricular activities. Mrs. Davey attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and initially studied Criminal Justice, but she soon discovered her love of working with kids and helping them succeed. Mrs. Davey began her teaching career at Desert Willow, teaching 4th grade in C-8. After that, she spent two years at Ironwood Elementary as the Teacher on Assignment, and one year at Casa Grande Middle School as the Assistant Principal. When the opportunity came to come back and lead Desert Willow - it was like coming home.
Mrs. Davey continues to love the staff, students and community of Desert Willow. She is a proud mom of three teenagers who attend schools in the community. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new countries, or places that have cooler weather, and spending time with family playing games.
Mrs. Davey is privileged to be the leader of Desert Willow and the hard working teachers and staff that fill the building with joy and passion each day. Desert Willow is truly a spectacular place to work, learn and grow.
