We would like to extend our thanks to all of our Desert Willow volunteers. We value the help we receive from parents/volunteers and realize that we would be unable to provide such quality experiences for the children without your time and expertise.
We want our school to be open and welcoming to all who would like to support our students. We also want to encourage parents and other adults to help teachers in a variety of ways.
As a parent and a volunteer, you are an important part of the Desert Willow community. When you become a volunteer, your work takes on special significance -- though you are not part of the staff, you share their responsibilities while working with students.
We also encourage you to take advantage of our volunteer training. It is a great way to meet people and get started on the right foot. Volunteer training is held quarterly-check out our school calendar for more information on the next session.
