Please call the school office at 520-836-7661 when your child is absent.  If your child will be arriving late or leaving early due to a doctor or dental appointment, please get an excuse from their office.  This is the only way the appointment will be an excused absence. All absences MUST be reported on the same day as the absence, per Arizona State Guidelines.

The District encourages students to take pride in their attire as it relates to school. Students should dress in a manner that, in addition to the following guidelines, takes into consideration the educational environment, safety, health, and welfare of self and others. Saguaro Elementary is proud of its partnership with the Casa Grande Alliance to bring affordable child care to our families through the Before & After School Program housed at the Saguaro campus. Enrolled students can attend as early as 6 AM and stay as late as 6 PM Monday through Friday, including school breaks and many major holidays. While at the program, students participate in a variety of activities, including STEM-focused lessons. Snacks and meals are provided at no additional cost.
