Villago Middle School opened its doors in the Fall of 2007. We embraced the selected name of "Villago" and its meaning, "village", as representative of our District's mission statement: "Success to Every One -- the Responsibility is Yours and Mine". As a staff, we are committed to working together as a team (or "village") in educating our students.

We are the Villago Titans. Our leadership team chose the Titan as the leading symbol for our school because it represents strength, courage, and determination. We wanted a very strong character as our mascot to provide our students with positive qualities to emulate and embody.

The staff who call Villago their home are committed to the village concept and will do whatever it takes to ensure the success of the children who walk through our doors. We encourage and edify their hard work and dedication to our school. Our staff chooses to be the water and not the fire. While fire can be flashy and bright, it is the steady flow and hard work of water that created the extraordinary Grand Canyon. We hope to be those positive moving forces in the lives of our students.

We are leaders who work together to ensure meaningful learning opportunities are provided so that all students grow as scholars, community leaders, and compassionate individuals. We make no excuses and model daily, "The Titan Way" core values of respect, accountability, and communication.
