Palo Verde PTO will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 29th from 4:30-5:30.
We are requesting unopened bags of individually wrapped candy* starting now through Oct. 29th. The class with the most candy donated will get to choose a class party.
We can’t wait to see your costumes!
Remember to bring your own Trick or Treat Bag.
Bring $ for concessions.
*Donated Candy will not be served during school hours. It will only be used during our special event.

Students are challenged skip count to build number fluency . Learning number sequences are not only helpful for mental math, but can help students with pattern recognition, logic skills and building mathematical stamina!

Our kindergarteners have been working hard on their foundational line writing skills. Practicing these lines with the correct pencil grip is an important first step in letter writing!
Our kindergarten students have been learning from our nursery rhyme module in ELA. They had "pail of water races" to close out our Jack and Jill story. They also scooped up "curds and whey" after Little Miss Muffet!

Kindersteps Information for 2026-2027
Students who turn 5 after August 31st but before December 31st of the current year and pass the KinderSteps screener will be eligible to attend kindergarten early.
