In Ms. Fogarty's math classes, students started the year by celebrating their own strengths. As they passed a ball around the circle, each student completed the sentence:
"I am good at math because..."
This engaging activity helped students build confidence, develop a positive math mindset, and get to know one another as they begin the school year. When students recognize their strengths, they're more willing to take on challenges, learn from mistakes, and grow as mathematicians.
We're proud of our Wildcats for starting the year with confidence and a belief in their own potential. Here's to an amazing year of learning! 💚💛🐾

Last week, Mrs. Rosales's class kicked off the school year by getting to know one another in creative ways. Students partnered up to interview each other and then introduced their partner to the class, helping everyone make new connections and build confidence.
In American Sign Language (ASL), students used modeling dough to sculpt an object that represented something about themselves. After creating their sculptures, they shared the meaning behind their objects with their classmates, giving everyone a chance to learn more about one another in a fun and meaningful way.
What a fantastic start to the year as our students build relationships, strengthen communication skills, and create a welcoming classroom community! 💚💛
