Mrs. Adelphia Sisson, Member
Adelphia Sisson has been the Director of Legal Services for a local nonprofit for the past twenty-one years. She served on the Casa Grande Police Advisory Council the Casa Grande Personnel Advisory Board from April 2006 to June 2010. She is a current member and past president of the Latino Familia Initiative, an organization to which she has devoted the last twenty years. She was part of the core group instrumental in the forming, growing, and excelling of this grassroots organization which has developed and trained leaders and brought cultural events to Pinal County.
She graduated from the Hispanic Leadership Institute in 2006 and then became the facilitator until 2012. She is a graduate of Central Arizona College. She is a nineteen-year member of the National Legal Aid and Defender Association and current board secretary for The Sparrow Campaign, a nonprofit which hosts fund raising events to stock a local food bank, fund a veteran’s center, recognize exemplary first responders and provide emergency funding for first responders and their families.
Adelphia has always made herself available to the Casa Grande Elementary School District, serving in several committees, including the Capital Planning Committee of the Casa Grande School District.
