Dear 8th Grade Families,
It is with great pride and excitement that we prepare to celebrate a truly special milestone—our very first 8th grade promotion ceremony. This inaugural class has helped shape our school community in meaningful ways, and we are honored to celebrate their accomplishments with you.
Please review the important details below:
Ceremony Details
The promotion ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 20th at 8:00 AM and will last approximately one hour. The ceremony will begin promptly, so we ask that all students arrive on campus and report to the staging area by 7:15 AM.
Guest Arrival
Families will be admitted into the cafeteria beginning at 7:15 AM. Please plan accordingly to allow time for seating prior to the start of the ceremony.
Tickets
Due to capacity and limited space, each 8th grade student will receive four (4) tickets. All guests must have a ticket to enter. Tickets will be distributed to students on Monday, May 18th. We encourage families to invite adults only, as school-aged children (ages 5–18) should be in school during this time.
End of Day for 8th Graders
Around 9:00am, at the conclusion of the ceremony, this will mark the final day of school for 8th grade students, and they will be released to leave with their families at that time.
Practice Information
Practice will take place on Tuesday, May 19th in the morning, prior to the 8th grade trip. Attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure a smooth and successful ceremony.
Dress Code
Students are expected to follow the school dress code. Clean, neat, dress attire is preferred. Please use good judgment when selecting clothing for this special occasion.
Additional Reminders
To help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all guests, we kindly ask that you do not bring balloons, large flower arrangements, or strollers into the ceremony space.
This class will always hold a special place in our school’s history as our first group of promoted 8th graders. Thank you for your continued support—we look forward to celebrating this memorable occasion together.
Sincerely,
Scott Raymond, Principal
